Es ist echt krass, wie sehr man eingeschränkt ist, wenn Nahrungsmittelallergien hat. Ich habe ja zum Glück keine, doch folgende Geburtstagseinladung hat mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht:

Cocoa powder (Sarah isn’t allergic to chocolate –but some of the additives that sneak in can cause problems. Some chocolate powders and chocolate bars are ok (again please check with me before using them –also I may be able to give you some stuff that we’ve collected on bulk rather than you buying something expensive –just for the occasion)
Don’t forget about things like cross contamination –also when greasing the surfaces of cooking tins –not to use butter or marg (I use a drop of sunflower oil).”
Krass, oder? Ich hatte absolut keine Ahnung was ich machen könnte. Aber es gibt liebe Menschen, die mit verschiedenen Zutaten rumexperimentiert haben, bis sie sogar Schokoladenkuchen machen konnten (der sogar gut schmeckte)!
Ich war echt gerührt, wie viele Menschen sich Mühe gemacht haben, um Sarah einen schönen Geburtstag haben zu lassen!
Es gibt viel mehr Menschen, die Unverträglichkeiten und Allergien haben, als ich bis jetzt immer angenommen habe. Es ist herausfordernd, sich darauf einzulassen. Das ist nur ein Feld von vielen, wo Nächstenliebe gefragt ist…
